Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TixCore (the "Platform"), operated by Yuvraj Sarda ("TixCore", "we", "us"). By using the Platform — whether as an event organizer ("Organizer") or as a ticket buyer ("Buyer") — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. What TixCore is
TixCore is ticketing infrastructure. We provide software that lets Organizers create events, sell tickets, issue secure QR tickets, and check attendees in. We are a technology provider and facilitator only.
TixCore is not the seller, organizer, or host of any event. We are a middleman that provides the ticketing technology. The event, its content, its delivery, its safety, its scheduling, and any goods or services associated with it are the sole responsibility of the Organizer.
2. We do not hold your money
TixCore does not process, hold, or settle payments. Each Organizer connects their own payment gateway account (e.g. Razorpay). When a Buyer pays, the funds go directly to the Organizer's account. TixCore creates and verifies the order using the Organizer's credentials but never takes custody of any funds at any point.
3. Platform fee
TixCore charges a platform fee of 3% on the value of each paid ticket sold through the platform. Free tickets (₹0) are not charged a fee. Because ticket revenue settles directly into the Organizer's own gateway, the platform fee is invoiced to the Organizer separately (currently on a per-event basis) rather than deducted from the transaction. The Organizer agrees to pay TixCore invoices for accrued platform fees. We may change the fee with prior notice; the rate in effect at the time of a sale applies to that sale.
4. Disputes between Buyers and Organizers
TixCore is not responsible for any dispute between a Buyer and an Organizer. This includes, without limitation:
- Event cancellations, postponements, or changes of venue, date, or line-up;
- Refunds, partial refunds, or refusal of refunds;
- The quality, safety, accuracy, or delivery of the event or experience;
- Entry being denied at the venue for any reason;
- Misrepresentation by the Organizer in event listings;
- Any loss, injury, or damage arising from attending an event.
Refunds and event-related issues are handled solely between the Buyer and the Organizer, according to the Organizer's own refund and event policies. Because funds settle directly to the Organizer, TixCore is technically and contractually unable to issue refunds on an Organizer's behalf.
5. Organizer responsibilities
- You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and delivery of your event.
- You must comply with all applicable laws, taxes, and regulations for selling tickets and hosting events.
- You are responsible for your own payment gateway account, its compliance, its KYC, and its settlements.
- You must publish and honor a clear refund/cancellation policy to your Buyers.
- You must not use the Platform for fraudulent, illegal, or prohibited events.
- You are responsible for any data you collect from Buyers through your events.
6. Buyer responsibilities
- You are buying a ticket from the Organizer, not from TixCore.
- You must provide accurate information, including a valid email address, so your ticket can be delivered.
- You must not resell, duplicate, tamper with, or fraudulently use tickets.
- Each ticket's QR code is single-use; once scanned, it cannot be reused.
- Direct any refund or event question to the Organizer, not to TixCore.
7. Ticket security & validity
Tickets are issued as cryptographically signed QR codes. A ticket is valid only until it is scanned at the gate, after which it is marked used. TixCore is not responsible for tickets that are shared, screenshotted, leaked, or stolen by the Buyer. Protect your ticket as you would cash.
8. Availability
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime, payment-gateway outages, or third-party service failures outside our control.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TixCore and Yuvraj Sarda shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform or from any event. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the platform fees (if any) you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnity
Organizers agree to indemnify and hold harmless TixCore and Yuvraj Sarda from any claim, loss, or liability arising from their events, their use of the Platform, or their disputes with Buyers.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be directed to the Platform operator, Yuvraj Sarda, through the contact channel provided to you during onboarding.
